We will gather at the Lower 9th Ward levee breach for spiritual invocation, testimony, and healing. This will be followed by the traditional Katrina March & Commemoration through the streets of New Orleans to Hunter’s Field on North Claiborne & St. Bernard. Once at Hunter’s Field, critical issues such as affordable housing, healthcare, education, and the prison industrial complex will be addressed by local organizers, activists, and citizens.
